Has anyone tryed takeing a Mini Cooper hood grill turning it upsidedown and seeing how close it comes to fitting below the HHR bumper ??? Saw one the other day looks like it just might fit---- it was going to fast to measure

 

Interesting mod. I know there is a Buick Enclave that has a grille that will fit in that spot. Let us know how this goes for you. I would imagine the part is pricey. If it does work, it would certainly add to the list of what works cool for that solution.
