Heres mine:

pic fuzzy, but you get the idea...its the lower grille offered on ebay for 60 bucks...it has less ribs than precision, so I didn't have to paint! That's about the only thing that was good about the experience...the upper didn't work out so good

a clearer picture of both

Here are both the grilles

The top is garbage, but I kept the bottom on and they don't look bad together...I still may paint every other rib...hadn't thought of that

edit: with the ribs painted, the spacing is about the same as the fog light covers...hey CJ, where'd you get that trim?

I've been wondering what this style of grill would look like on the HHR ? minus the GMC logo !

It might look ok on the bottom...but I'm happy with my OEM bright chrome grille for the top (at least until it sustains some damage like we've heard about. In my opinion, anything that covers that hole and prevents damage to the radiator thru that gaping hole is an improvement.

Godfather customs did one on their SEMA HHR. They do not make them as production, probaly not planning on it. I visited Godfather's, and they mostly do, wheels & aftermarket stuff, from what I saw, and limited help from their staff.

I am totatlly with you on wanting a matching grill lower with stock upper. I have Captain's orginal one and have un-assembled the bars, stock wise (spacing), two bars don't really fit proper. I plan on added a single stock bar, down there, kind of Nerf bar (Street Rod) look. Just recently got back into my racing (cycling), need to find time to get back to modifying the HHR.

Sounds like Sindy, maybe trying a similar mod, with her grill. With Mr. Bumpstops, we may see something soon!!!

Here is Godfather's, which looks good. Some think, closing too much of the bottom may cause over-heating, keep in mind these SEMA show cars, are show cars, not necessarily daily-drivers.
