Carbon Fiber Mirrors & Spoilers (SS)

Hey guys, I'm looking to get my mirrors and or spoiler in carbon fiber. I don't want the fake carbon vinyl, I'm talking real carbon fiber.

I seen someone had them custom made (orange with black on top paint job) but i can't figure out where they got it done and the price.

I have a 2008 SS/TC

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You might want to reconsider the fake carbon fiber. I am super critical when it comes to stuff that looks real or fake. Earlier this year I saw a cobalt with a quad exhaust, which looked pretty good except it gets cold here and you could clearly see exhaust only coming out of one tip, not to mention all the stuff people do to Hondas to make them look worse than before. I think the carbon fiber vinyl has made huge strides compared to what it was a few years ago. I saw several booths at SEMA back in November that had vinyl so good I was blown away. Sure it isn't super hard to do fiberglass and carbon for structural stuff, but the hard part is getting the pattern to look right. If all you are going for is the look, I would definately look more into vinyl and save yourself some money. I wish I had kept a list of all the good ones at SEMA, but I didn't. I know 3M makes a great one.

3M makes a carbon fibre vynil that looks so real, it's hard to tell the difference.
It's called DI-Noc and comes in a few different colors. Easy to apply[see video on their site].
I tried some on my wheel center caps, and will soon be doing a racing stripe in DI-Noc.
Real carbon fibre is real pricey. If you do go that route, be prepared to spend a ton. What you want would have to be custom made. "Moon"

Here's a good source. They have textured laminates in many varieties. They also have inexpensive dash kits for the HHR as well.

O.K. Fine! Post some pics. of your carbon fibre airbrush work and let me take a look. You've got my curiousity up. I've been doing airbrush art for over forty years, and I've got to see a carbon fibre look, that looks that good.
Show me the stuff. Maybe I'll lean something new. "Moon"
P.S. $$ is in the clear......No In the labor....under $150.00....I don't get off my A-- for that! Not flaming just getting real.
And as a footnote: I don't do no stinking airbrush work on my stuff.. "Moon"

Not sure how she did, but my daughter did a trick to painting on both sides of her hood to look like carbon fiber, Dam she did a great job. And to thing, a lot of guys think girls can do good mods.
