You don`t need 3m tape to install in-channel window vent visors...

I'm afraid to buy them without a good picture of them. I have seen the in-channel ones installed and like the way they look, but I really can't tell from the small photo of the package that they have in the ad if this is the right ones or not.

Its much easier to just order the right ones online or purchase at the local auto store. I purchased a set from one of our vendor sponsors. takes all of 10 minutes to install. Just my $.02

The co. that makes the in-channel type, don`t sell at the local store.. I have this brand on other veh. always use 3m tape. Tape is good , but it sort distracts the clean look I`m after. I want true in-channel type.

in channel does use 3M tape. problem is it is hard to get them really clean enlugh to make them stick well.

i had them on our equinox and they just didnt last long. i would have to buy more 3M tape and re-install them

What are options for in-channel? Who makes them and which one do people like best?

I'm gonna try the in-channel because I just don't like the look of the tape-ons. I'm hoping they work out, if not, they're gone. I'm from the school of "if I have to re-do then it shouldn't have been done".

I have the lund in channels and they are a perfect fit. They use a 3m tape. i used the supplied alcohol swaps and a microfiber towel dipped in alcohol. Then after it dries install the visors and leave the windows rolled up for 24 hours. There are no signs of them coming loose and they fit pretty snug in the channels.
