Sounds to me like some of your chrome missed a step in the process. It's typical for chrome trim to wrinkle and peel if it was put directly onto the plastic. This was something that used to occur back in the 70's before they improved the process. Well, hopefully the dealer will replace these parts as they go bad. Good luck.
