I know the 3M is awesome stuff. A friend of mine uses it on all his cars.

I bought some of that "stuff" from someone on e-bay. I bought just the front bumper and below, package. Frankly, based on the thickness, it will not provide protection for what is normally thrown around on roads here. And, is not worth the money if you are seeking chip protection..... IMO... based on samples of other products.

I AM, however, using it for an experiment, that someone had suggested in a much earlier forum. And, for that, I would utilize thin material such as this.

It's the old saying.....

PAY ME NOW, OR PAY ME LATER...might as well do it right the first time. So, I am "favoring" a product that has an outstanding guarantee and reputation.

Several of my friends, who have attempted to apply these "kits", have said to get it installed professionally. These are "car people" and their installs do not look professional.

Just my 2 cents.
