I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. Has anyone put cobalt side mirrors on the HHR? I was parked next to one today waiting for my wife to come out of the store and got to looking and the base mounted to the triangle part that attaches to the car and they look almost identical. I've seen some power ones on Ebay that also have an LED light mounted in them. I think that these would be a good look for the HHR as they're smaller and closer to the body, but have the same mount. Just curious.

 

Honestly I dont think they'll work. They are a bit different but with a little work you could probably retro-fit them to work. Could be pretty easy if you know how to use fiberglass might be a cool project. Given that once I get some money I might try to tackle that, could be cool.

 

What would be cooler would be to eliminate the mirrors entirely and use dual camers to display everything going on the sides and rear of the vehicle....maybe be even a HUD.....

 

I might see if I can get them to work if I can find a wrecked one in my local junk yard. Got bigger fish to fry 1st. I was just wondering cuz I was looking at one parked next to me...you should have seen the lady's face when she came out and saw me measuring her mirrors! Priceless!
(I explained to her what I was doing and she said those ought to look pretty good on my HHR.)
