Has anyone tried painting the stock lugnut covers that come on the HHR. They are already sort of a black plastic, but I was thinking about painting them either black or red to match the car. Would it look good? what do you think? If you've done it, or anything similar, post some pics. Thanks!

 

I went with some colored "tuner lug nuts" from eBay... sorry this pic is from when I was swapping out my horn hence the jack.

 

I also went with a tuner set from ebay in black

 

though the tuners look awesome, I really don't have that option because I still have the stock wheels. They are the metal rims with wheel covers, not the nice wheels. I can't put the tuners on with the wheel covers. Has anyone painted the lugnut covers that go in the wheel covers?
