I'm in the process of buying and HHR and the dealer says he can offer me an after market ground kit "similar to the SS ground kit" for the LT for $2k.

I have no idea what the ground kit looks like - I've asked for a photo.
Has anyone received a similar offer from the dealer?

I'm worried that it won't be worth the money...

 

There are a few kits on EBay you can get. Probably one of those. $2K for the kit, painting and installation probably isn't a bad price. But I would definatly would want to see it first.

Oh, there's NO WAY I'm going to buy it without seeing it first. I just wanted to know if anyone else was made a similar offer and what their experience was.

I think the HHR needs something to help it look less like a breadbox! I currently own a PT and love it. The HHR improved on the PT in many areas - except for body style!

I love the styling of the SS - but no heater leather seats (which are a must for me). I would be totally happy if I could put the SS ground kit on the LT2 and not pay an arm and a leg for it!

Suggestions?
