Sure is a low-cost mod. I haven't decided if I'll remove the GM "chicklets" from the front fenders.

Why did GM switch to body color door handles and gate trim for 08? I think the monotone look is boring. Brushed silver or chrome really highlights the car.

It has something to do with "in the eye of the beholder".

Yeah, I'd be very upset if mine had chrome or aluminum, I love the all black look and I'd have had to sand and paint all the trim! Also, debadged mine the day I picked it up including the GM logos, easier when new. Also ordered those same wheel discs today.........thanks millpond2!!!

Totally agree on the anit chrome. I'm in the process now of removing all the chrome. Beauty bar and handles are done, mirrors are next, grille and roof rack we will have to see.
