I'm looking to upgrade my LS's exterior... but can't find any bright chrome hardware anymore... do they still make it or is it black chrome only?

 

The '09s had the bright chrome package that came standard w/ the 2lt or could be added to the 1lt (and maybe the ls). The black chrome package is an add on package that cost extra money. So basically ya they are out there at least through the '09 model and dont see why they would remove that starndard for the '10 2lt

 

What I mean to say is I can't find any reference to chrome hardware aftermarket whatsoever. No GM part numbers, and everything I DO find is black chrome.

Thanks for trying but they're either chrome adhesive covers, or black chrome handles.

This is exactly why I'm asking if GM is still making the parts.

 

well then I would suggest going to your local dealer adn talking to them about it and part numbers. I know one of the supporting vendors (I think it is hhr botique) has the chrome mirror covers.

 

I've got a pair of bright chrome mirrors up for sale. Complete units, just bolt on and plug in.

You can order most of the chrome accessories from this link: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/. When I get home tonight I will forward the part numbers supplied for the bright chrome accessories. On this site you have to enter the VIN of a HHR which came with the bright chrome package, code B57. This site offers good discounted prices on OEM parts. Here are the part numbers:

15895671 driver's front door, outside cap, keyed.
15895670 passenger's front, driver's, or passenger's rear door, outside cap, keyless.
15930506 driver', or passenger's front, or rear bright chrome outside door handle lever.
20836146 bright chrome radiator grille.
25881284 lift gate center appliqué, chrome with rear license plate lamps.

Just plug these OEM GM part numbers in the above site and you can order them.
