I am going to be replacing the seat covers(OEM) on a power driver's seat.

I took the seat out of the car, and began dis-assembly, only to discover that I havent figured how to seperate the back rest from the seat bottom.

I got the trim panels off easily, and the power switch disconnected...but it is completely different than the manual passenger side, other than the fact that it is a power seat.

if anyone has done this, or can point me in the direction of someone who has, I'd appreciate it.

again...driver's power seat disassembly. I know how to remove the seat, and I have already done the passenger side. But the driver's seat frame is different

Did you ask the person you got the covers from?

 

he paid an upholstery shop to do the swap for him.

Plus...he had a manual driver's seat.
