Door Ding Moulding???

Hi Folks, I was wondering if anyone has put on some form of door ding moulding? A horizontal moulding at about half way up the door. Some PPL with clunkers don't care, when in parking lots. Any ideas? Thanks.... Bill

If you look at are cars that have dings you'll find dings at different height's, best thing we can do is be careful where we park...and that doesn't work all the time either. BTW, I see people with nice cars that don't care how they open there door also.

Only thing I have put on mine is the door edge guard. In oder to avoid other dings...I just park in the boonies when I park in a lot...or close to an island where there is only one car on the other side...parking as close to the curb as possible. Have done that since January and no dings as of this date.

Exactly my strategy. I also scan for shopping carts that can roll and try to park on the upper side of a grade so if one does get sent careening toward my beloved HHR it won't be able to hit me.

People think I'm wacked. At least I do not park on an angle taking two spots like some I see.

I think a errant shopping cart might have caused a strange little crease that appeared on the drivers side door and front fender shortly after we got our HHR. It's like 15in. from the ground and very slight. You have to be looking for it, but I know it's there and I was really P/Od at the time.
