I know its a bit of overkill but I was gettin some hats done up anyway..was only charged 20 bucks Canadian for the job..

yes..covers come off..just undo the long plastic clip on the bottom of headrest..pull like a gorilla..have the wife around for reinstall..easier to squash the foam with your hands and slip the cover back on...
