I used Testors model spray paint. The area by my shifter is vinyl. I also did the stripes on the doors(they were the dark grey color) havent posted any pics of those yet. I also did the steering wheel controls also. Thanks everyone for the compliments, very well appreciated.

The console by my shifter is lime green vinyl that I bought and cut for it. The only pieces that I painted are the waterfall, the piece where the windows switches are and then my steering wheel controls.

How did you remove the steering wheel control pieces? I want to paint mine, but don't know how to go about removing them. Thanks

Well first off, make sure you pull the fuse out of the fuse box for the airbag. Then if you look at the steering wheel there is a little hole on both sides, you have to take a skinny screwdriver and push in through the holes and it will release the clips that hold it in place (I did a search on here and found out how to remove it).Once you get the clips popped and the airbag out, there is a screw that hold the plastic pieces in place unscrew them and then its kinda a PITA to pop the switches out of the pieces, and even more fun trying to pop them back in,lol.

I'm not messing with the airbag. Oh well, I'll live with it being silver. Thanks, if anyone has a video tutorial on how to do it, I might try it if I see it done.
