Finally debadged

Well after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to go for it and debadged Sebastian. I also recently added the Ron Jon Surf Shop decals I bought while in Key West. Thoughts?

i've thought about debadging, but i've only had it a week, so we'll see when i make up my mind about it.

I kinda like it with them so people can see what we're driving. But on the other hand i like the clean look like yours.

How'd you do it?

looks great! I am planning on doing this to my SS so what is the process? your experience could certainly help out a few of us looking for a clean look.

Thanks,

I let the car sit out in the sun so it got good and hot, and used waxed dental floss and sawed back and forth until it was off. Then a bit of rubbing to get the rest of the adhesive off, and it was done. I noticed with the sun heating it up, they came off very easy. The last couple I tried to just twist them off, and they came right off that way also, thanks to the heat from the sun. I also noticed when I twisted them off, there was less adhesive to remove. A bit of Goo Gone was all it took to remove the adhesive.

Looks great! Painting the bowties are on my list, but only after my new grill is done, which is in the works. I love the red around the rims! nice touch.

My "new" grill is going to be a 3 bar, but with a few changes to set it apart. Hopefully it will be done soon. I really want it finished by the HHR Nationals this month.
