Its flat black with cardinal red bow tie and 4 coats of clear for protection now. All I have to worry about is rocks on the freeway. Hope you all like it I"m thinking of doing the rear bar and bow tie the same colors tell me what you think. My next mods are gonna be painting the lugs on my steelies red and change dash and radio back lights to red cant wait

Yo should put some kind of screen behind the grille or your going to catch some nice rocks and possibly puncturing you radiator.

Nice job, Scott!
Definitely a screen as Chad says and the other protection you need also is something to cover the bottom opening. A lower billet works there (I just painted mine black).

Hope to see it soon at a SoCal HHR g2g!

There is a screen behind it, some chicken wire I bought at Home Depot, and painted it black and turned it sideways so it looks like diamonds instead of squares. Its just not as thick as I would of liked but its strong and for 8 bucks you cant beat it. It'll do the job for now and yea I ave extra so im gonna do the bottom grill to. I think you cant see through it as much in person as you can in the picture
