Fitment question
Fitment question
I am looking to add some new rims to my 09 LS. The wheels I am looking at are made by ADR. They are 18", 5x110, 8.5" wide with a 38 offset.
My question is will these fit or will I need spacers? Also, I think I can run a 225/45/18 tire....does that sound right? Any help would be appreciated.

im doing the same in the spring..im lowered but im not sure if 45 will fit ...maybe a hair still too wide..easy way is to check with a plumb bob and tape..with that offset might stick out past the fender lip..look cool but not sure of state laws..sum states hate that..
45 is the sidewall height, 225 is the tires section width. (or widest part) Not the tread width.
So the sidewall is 45mm of the 225mm section width.
225/45/18" are on a couple members lowered vehicles here, But they have Cobalt rims.

The 45 part on the tire size is actually 45% of the section width of the tire, not 45 mm tall sidewall. so a tire that is 225/45 would measure out--tread width is 225 mm, and the sidewall height would be about 100 mm(so in inches it would be about 8 7/8" wide and the sidewall is about 4" tall).
