Fog/Driving lights and install prices?

I bought some aftermarket driving lights because my 1LT does not have that option. Is eveything that comes in the kit(harness, switch, mounting brackets) enough for the install or is there other items I will need? I will be gettin a shop to do the install and was wondering what kind of price I should be paying? These are the lights I am going to be using"Blazertech 3200's", they are discontinued but I loved them on my grand prix when I had it. Thanks for any info!! By the way I got my set for $32 shipped on ebay this guy is overpriced but they usually retail for about $50 or so.

I dont know about the lights you purchased, but normally aftermarket driving lights should come with all the items you need to install it. As far as taking it to a shop to have it installed I would guess its going to be around $75 to $100 for installation. There isnt a place for you to mount the lights on the HHR and they (mounting shop) will need to make brackets to install the driving lights. I used the cover that came with the car to mount the lights I have. Check the HOW TO section. You will see a post from me and CJ KRAUSE on how we installed our aftermarket lights.

Since these are only 4" lights, just tell them to use the black fill in ports that are currently there, just as PNOY mentioned. That way they don't have to worry about customizing their own brackets. Otherwise they will charge you more than likely for the extra brackets. I had 5" lights installed and they had to charge me for making their own brackets in addition to the labor.

Congrats on post 1000!

Do you have any pictures of the brackets that were used for your fog lights?

HA! Didn't even realize that. Wow. As far as the brackets. Sorry. I don't have any pics for the brackets. They weren't really anything special. I'll try to take some pics of the brackets once the rain stops.
