Looking real good. Thats the grill I want to use on my HHR but I don't see the lower one listed on SoCal site any more. Where did you get yours?

Thanks, maybe their out of stock. I'll just have to look around.
Most places want to sell the top & bottom as a pair but not separately.

Yours looks real good.

Just checked his site and you're right. I don't see any grilles on there. Might want to give him a jingle or PM him to find out what's going on.

I bet if you contacted Mike at SoCal HHR's , he'd be more than happy to answer all of your questions.

It was reviewed by an HHR owner and they said it was good quality. I was under a time crunch since I have a 1000 mile trip to northern Ontario planned in about 12 days and I wanted to put it in before we hit the road.

I got my lower grill form there as well. They sell it alone, so there was no problem just getting the bottom.
I 've had it a month and have not put it on ( busy/lazy ) But now have been thinking of painting black every other fin to better match the stock top.
It seems well built.

You guys are quick! I see you noticed; all the Precision Billet products have just been removed from our site, and I am returning all our remaining stock this week for credit. I made a decision last Friday not to sell their products any longer as we have had way too many problems with the PB grilles not fitting correctly.

We discovered a fitment problem about 3 months ago, and have been working with them trying to rectify the problem ever since. I emailed them pics of the bad grilles compared to the good grilles etc. I even sent one of my customers up there to have his car measured (they gave him a free set of grilles too). They simply can't make grilles for us fast enough, and we have recently shipped out "new corrected" grilles to customers, only to have reports that those are not fitting properly either. To me, it's just not worth the hassle. I want to sell grilles that fit right and look great right out of the box.

Basically, I have to pull every grille out of the box and bolt it on a car myself to make sure they fit properly (most don't), and I don't have the time or patience to do something PB should be doing at their factory. It's just not right for them to hold my customers or myself "hostage" like this - and it's not the way I like to do business.

I will be talking with several specialty manufacturers this week to try and have our own custom grilles made. These too would be "direct bolt-on" fit with no cutting.

Sorry for the confusion, but we only want to offer the best to our customers, the PB grilles were just not making the cut.

Stay tuned to our site for new developments...

All I can say is that the lower grill I got fit great and took less than 10 minutes to put on.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones!
