Front plate mount

I hate plates on the bumper-to me,they spoil the lines, plus are at risk for damage/being knocked off. Here is what I did:

Also changed the back license plate frame:

It shouldn't hurt airflow because it is not up against the opening. If it does, I guess I will have to drill ventilation holes in the front plate

Looks good Lee. Don't ya just hate states that require front plates. (like Ohio) Agreed, spoils the car's lines.

This time around I ordered vanity plates... cause if I'm required to have front plates, I'm going to get something I enjoy! Maybe even make a statement.

BTW, I like your plates... yes DUI's is very bad!!

On a lighter note, I finally ordered my vanity plates last week! (pretty excited)

I got "DRUM HHR" ... which IMO sounds like "Drummer" but also covers the HHR aspect too.

I've had other cars w/vanity plates (long time ago) but I'm looking forward to showing off this one.

Yep, no mistaking your plate meaning... sometime basic is good!

With so many HHR vanity plate options still available in Ohio, it's hard to decide/pick one. I believe "HHR 1" is taken already.

I'll post a pic (or two) of mine when my plates come in.
