gauge faces

has anyone put on new white face gauge faces, how hard is it

I have. It's not hard but the directions I got were terrible. All told it took around 2 - 3 hours. Would have been less except for the directions. Have you bought them yet?

are you getting the overlay from say hhrboutique or the stickon ones from ebay

It was a US Speedo overlay. Very nice set. If I remember I think I got it from AutoAnything. I put it in last fall.

I haven't seen the ones on eBay you mention. For this one you remove the instrument panel from the car and disassemble. Pull the needles (tool included).Remove the OEM inlay and replace with the new ones. Hot glue the new overlay in place (you have to cut tabs to get the OEM one out) reassemble and install. The direction failed to mention that the trim piece on your dash is also held in with the push tabs along with the instrument panel. I don't like forcing something whenit doesn't come out easy. Took a while to figure out the tabs. but not a hard job.

yea I noticed that too when I did mine in red... but when your done the look is OEM coolness that it was worth the extra time gonna post a "step by step" with pictures when I get time
