Are you just doing a strip on your winshield or the whole thing and what %? it looks real good with those wheels on but i don't know if its that hill or what but it looks like its got a mean rake to it. probally just an optical illusion.

its on a hill so it does have a crazy rake...its 5% and i will be doing the whole windshield

That what i swore i read also.... I have friends who have 5% on their rides and at night i have to put the window down just to see if anyone is coming.... If your doing this to the front.... GOOD LUCK! oh and DON'T come to FLORIDA (not saying you can't.. you just might get pulled over alot).... LOL

lol what are the laws like the in tx? cuz i know the guys here in colorado who did the strip on mine were even skeptical on doing my strip just a little lower than the wider spotted section by the rear veiw of mine.

Here in AZ my limo strip stops just shy of the bottom of the mirror mount. Its a little low but the strip isn't even 5" long. Small windshield.

I got pulled by the fuzz a while ago and was hasseled over that strip. The Tucson bike cops are notorious ticket nazi's. He ducked inside and said it was too low. Said it was lower than the reference AC1 line or something or other. When he checked the windshield there was no marking of any sort. Then he said it cannot be longer than 6" which it was not. Then said there is a measurement off the driver's seat that it cannot be lower than. Took out his tape measure and again was let down. I said, "its not your fault officer, I just have a tiny windshield. But I thank you for being concerned for my safety."

He was dumbfounded and even more upset that my car was to AZDOT code.

check a couple of my threads....they will tell you the laws and how they are applied in TX....and trust me i know how illegal it is
