On the grille, I like the block (bottom picture). I like the script (top) for the sides of the hood better.

I bought that decal for mine, but have yet to put it on...too much wax!

I like the block letters myself. Sorta goes with the block lettering on the back. I put those on almost 4 Years ago, and they're still looking good.
I also put the chrome block letter "CHEVROLET" on the hood sides a little later.

Another vote for "block lettering".. Old school..like 1947-1953 Sub, & Panel

Use some Rubbing Alcohol to clean & remove wax before install..(just let it dry first thoroughly)
And warm weather is the best time for best adhesion, imo.

I went a different way, I used these Silver Vinyl Overlays. Tones down the Gold bow-ties & still has the block lettering in 1949 Font-stlye

Not a fan of either but like the block better guess it doesn't matter now that you have the billet grille installed.

I am partial to block letters (before anybody says anything, I dont like the racing flags in the yellow but it is just there temporarily until I figure out what to put in the chrome bowtie).

BLOCK. Script looks good on the side of the hood. But I'm biased...

This looks great on the rear Bow Tie:
