I don't really like rims that big unless they are on a truck but they don't look too bad on your HHR. 
I think its because I like the rims you chose, nice choice. 
From the pics it kind of looks like your rims are sticking out past you fenders, especialy in the front.

Nope. they're almost even with the fender (just where I wanted them). I still have plenty of room for lowering.(which will be the next addition) I went with an 8" wheel instead of the 7.5". I'll try and get some more pics of the width. Thanks!!
