Alot depends on where you live and the road conditions. I had a VERY low sports car, and here in NYC you do not want that as your daily driver. So I just got the leveling springs and love them. Ride is a little firmer than factory but not bad, and with the Progress sway bar handling is very good. I can easily push it around turns and break into a nice little drift without any body roll. I didnt want to lower the front any, with all of our famous (or is it infamous) potholes.

My 2006 2LT is rolling on stock 17 inch rims with a set of the Goldline Rear Leveling Springs for a visual comparison with others and alone...

Smooth level ride and rides excellent year round with just enough leveling to fill the wheel wells and drop it without any bottoming out. Definitely improved cornering and handling.
