Here's my interpretation....

I trimmed it from a Cadavalier RS emblem, goes with the red&black theme I'm using.

Still not sure if I want to lose the 'PANEL' badge yet...

I like it! And your terminology for the deceased emblem donor cracked me up.

Looks good, man. Similar lettering to the chrome ones I used actually.....

I was going to add the RS to mine in that spot also but the new stock at the store was a different "S" so it wouldn't work...... Ehh, no biggie.

"Cadavalier"

SS owners are debadging; LS/LT owners are rebadging. I think I'm gonna replace my SS badges with GTI. Then when someone asks me why, I'll tell them, "Because HHR owners are schizophrenic." But it won't happen 'cause nobody knows what an HHR is. Even amongst the few that do, I always get the same comment: "I didn't know they made an SS model." ;-)

It's all good, just part of 'personalizing' our cars.

I found a matching "S" today, same as I used on the sides, so I'll be doing the back gate after all.

Agree with it or not, It's kinda cool, didn't cost much and can be removed easily when I can afford to go with some nice pinstriping for an old school look. Works for me..... Seems I'm not totally alone with that thought either.
