HID Question

Ok, so after going from HID's in my last car and not in my new car Im already ready for the conversion kit in my HHR and I only had it for a week. Does anyone have pics of HID's in an HHR?

No pic's that I know of, but I believe one of the vendors has a conversion. My wife's Saab 9-3 has HID's ... and they're nice! While not exactly the same, have you considered the Silverstar replacement* bulbs? Just a thought... you could give it a shot for $50. There's a thread, WITH pics demonstrating the difference!

*Reminder: when installing ANY bulb, DO NOT touch the bulb with your bare fingers (!!!)- this will contribute to premature burnout.

i just saw on a newspaper insert for Advance auto, they have silverstar ultimate bulbs or something like that...cant remember the names right now, but i would guess they are brighter then silverstars...

they have them all on sale, it was the silvania, then the cool blue, then silverstars, then silverstar ultimate (or whatever they were called)...
the ones for those ultimate bulbs was about $37, which is what the silverstars cost normally not on sale...

i may try those out

ok here a link to the insert for advance auto... now this is from MY zip code, but maybe its the same all over the place
http://advanceauto.shoplocal.com/adv...7&pagenumber=7

ok so they are called silverstar ULTRA not ultimate,,, well i was close

You can buy them from UNEEK (LLLuneekLLL@hotmail.com).

He used my car as a sample HHR to do his "HOW TO". Ive been rolling with HIDs since it was installed and I will never go back to the old bulbs.
