I like it a lot, but too rich for my blood.

There are a lot of different places to buy reproduction hood ornaments for under $100. Type in search for classic hood ornaments or retro hood ornaments. www.Danchuk.com is one. www.gemhood ornaments.com and www.americanclassic.com

Man... I've Googled inside outside and upside down with little to no luck.
Danchuck and American Classic don't have what I'm looking for and Gemhood is down for some reason. The pic that I posted was from about the only site I've found doing remakes. Of course, I'm gonna keep looking and scoping eBay but classic hood ornaments (even remakes) are really scarce out there.

Here's a great site for old Chevy stuff...

http://www.fillingstation.com/

The biggest challenge would be matching an ornament to the curvature of the HHR hood.

As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, you can find them a lot cheaper on eBay but most are used and are in need of rechroming which isn't cheap either.

This is one of the best ones I've found so far:

Thanks for the link. They've got the same hood ornament for $125.

That one will work! What year is that one? I would not by anything on ebay unless I had to. I only purchase from companys that I can talk to. A personal sales rep and customer service. With all the id. thef going on, you realy have to be careful.
