How to wash California Duster?

I've safely used the same one for years. Never wash it as instructed. I'll occasionally clean the fibers with my shop vac to remove any excess debris.

Even though the Californicate Duster people say that you can wash their product, I will agree with those that say it has poor results........and my opinion is based on several attempts at cleaning them (several through the years).

Results at cleaning with Woolite and cold water have provided a less effective car duster in my opinion. BUT, I would still suggest to do it and then use that one for cleaning chrome/polished wheels. Mark it as the "WHEEL" duster and buy a new one for the paint.
