Okay so I know its prolly been discussed like 10,000 times but if I were to buy the SS bumper and grill would it just bolt up to my LT?

No, it is not an exact fit. It can be done but you'll need to do a lot of cutting etc

Someone here did it though...do a search and you'll find out how they did it

if you by the bumper it will fit just fine and so will the grille, if you by just the grille with the stock lt bumper it will not fit.

If i do it i will buy both i dont want to hack apart my front bumper. I like how the SS grill and bumper look but at my age the insurance is not very nice for the SS itself.

Eh, whats your age? I'm 22 and the insurance on my SS isn't too bad at $1k every 6 months.

19, I Pay roughly 600 a year for my LT. and I just bought this one so maybe in the future ill get an SS but for now im going to mod what i have. I said something to the insurance lady about the SS when i was getting insurance for my LT and she said she would reccomend to me waiting until like 25 to get anything that has SS in the name. my loan company requires me to have full coverage to get the rate im at ( in the long run paying for the full coverage saves me booku on the loan). But again it'd be a couple hundred for the grill and bumper but 25k for an SS give or take a few k. as of right now i just want the looks.

oh, and forgot the subject at hand. the guy you want to talk to is Gary B

https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/bro...=3&userid=3418

I asked him about this and this is what he said.

"I ordered everything new from a Chevy dealership, painted it all myself and installed it myself. At list, the parts would run upwards of $1,800.00"

alright well then maybe i like my bumper that i have already, just have to wait and see if there is anything on ebay ever. 1800 is way too much for me, id rather spend that under the hood.

I think the $1800 also included the rear bumper, if that makes any difference to you.
