Inner door handles
On my 2006 HHR, the other day I went to get out. I grabbed the inner door handle and then...nothing! The handle still pivots but something else came loose.
Got the panel off last night to find that on the back of the handle is a lever, of sorts, that the actuator cable from the door latch hooks onto the door handle. Now that part broke and it looks like the only way to replace it is to get a complete inner door panel!
Not looking at a panel, but at using a plastic epoxy to join the broken piece back on to the handle. Has anyone else on this forum run across the same problem? And what did you do to repair it?
