Interior Started!

A while back I bought a set of Ebony upholstery from DONBB82 with the embroidered wolf heads on the headrests. I started work tonight to customize the upholstery with a Burgundy "Scotsdale" pattern. So far I'm pleased with the look since it matches the red and black exterior so well.

I don't want to make it look like I'm bragging (well maybe just a little ) but I got some more done on the car today. I ordered the new carpet, and got the Passenger side seat done except for mounting the armrest.

I got the seats done, and decided the headliner was next. We recovered in a black material that really looks better than the picture shows. In the shot is the raised lettering "HHR" above the driver's area. Also, where the little LED light was is now the microphone for the bluetooth unit that I'm installing. The new black carpet came in so that's been installed, and I've started on the box for the Sub speaker in the rear. I did the sides in wood with fiberglass for the curved area around the wheel well. I laid a first layer in the car and when it set up I took the box out so I can build it up. When it all sets I'll smooth everything out and give it a coat of paint to hide the little defects, even though it won't be seen. The box is about .4 C.F. which is just right for the speaker I'm using.
