I kind of like the grille but I personally don't like the way it fits at the top. Basically that's why I chose the Carriage Works grille or otherwise I would probably have the same grille on my HHR. Whether people like it or not it makes your HHR stand out from the rest!

Hahaha! - You are a hoot Capt.! Yet, it might be beneficial if you get the wife involved, but that's your call.

Looks good Mike! I know of another "LS" that turns plenty of heads, right CJ? In the first shot, did you photoshop the grill in or is it a permanent thing? Either way, I like what you are doing! I am still undecided on the rebadging. Badges, we don't need no stinking Badges! *Dry, I know* Well, by the end of today, I may have taken my first major steps in modding. I don't want to say anything until it is official...

No Fenris - it's in there - not photoshopped. I'm finding that whenever you resize pics of this grille, the bars look funny. It's going to be tough to get small pics that look good. This grille is a direct replacement bolt-in. It says; "installs in 30-minutes or less." I did mine in 20, and took pictures while doing it!

I don't expect everyone to like the look - but I do and that's all that counts. I think this grille, more than others, gives the look of a "custom billet' grille, that's why I like it. It doesn't look like a "production" part to me. It is howe3ver, made of some pretty stout billet - thick plates that are highly polished. I'm happy!

The main reason I wanted to carry Precision Billet grilles is that they are 100% bolt-in direct replacement grilles that require no cutting or damage to your stock grille. Some HHR owners might want to keep their stock grilles in case they decide to sell. Some other HHR owners might not be comfortable cutting up their stock grilles. Precision Billet gives them that option.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I can understand that in regards to keeping the Stock Grille intact. That does make a lot of sense Socal.

Yeah, it's the algorithm for the resizing that causes the radial artifacts in linear objects. It gets worse as the the lines get further from horizontal. Some programs have the ability to change the resize algorithm to prevent anomalys like that. This concludes your public service announcement on graphic technology...

I've tried Corel, Photoshop (best), and MGI Photosuite (worst), with mixed results. My only other option is to shoot at a lower resolution, - if I can bring myself to do that!

Don't consider it as lower resolution... think of it as micro photography!

Same thing happened with my grille, but on a smaller scale. Some of the bars look bent but they're not.
