I went with the dakrest legal for florida, and put 28% on the front 2 and coverd the stock tint with 15% for the rest.

And you can see my new stubby too!!

I tinted my front windows 4 days after taking my HHR home, I just wish I could tint my windshield at least 2 - 4%

I plan on doing this also eventually. WI lets you tint the front sides, but not sure on the percentage.

If you've never driven a car with tinted front windows you may be surprised at how much visibility you lose when driving at night. I understand it's a personal preference but just FYI.

Wish I could tint my front sides here in Jersey too. It seems like its missing something when you have the back 4 but not the front.

I definitely know what you mean about losing visibility at night, (well more predominately at night) and I am a careful driver, but most of my driving is done with the windows down, being in FL, that is one thing i love (minus the downpours out of nowhere, but you take the good with the bad) thanks Czechman for the heads up tho!

Haven't noticed a huge dif. in the temp after leavin it in the sun for a while, because of the lack of sun in south FL for the past couple days, but i know it'll make a dif.
