Just ordered my 1st Mod from SoCal

Well I know the big hype right now is the chrome stubbys but I just didnt see it working for me so I decided to go ahead and get the Stretch Stubby. You never know when you are going to be up in the mountains and stuff so I figured it would fit best seeing how I can keep the low profile on my HHR but if need be I can extend it to try to get more reception. Well anyways thanks SoCalHRR. So umm with your first mod do you get a free cool decal or something...haha....j/k..

Way to go John...it's very addicting once you start modding the HHR. I've ordered so much stuff from Mike at SoCal that I can now log in and don't have to put in all my info every time I order.

I'll be ordering a stubby next week, along with the 3rd brake light "HHR" overlay. It's a pleasure doing business with SoCals. Lightning fast delivery and quality products.

Let me tell ya about Mike and SoCal. He is great and service is awsome. I ran into a problem when i preordered my gold line springs when they were outta stock. well months went by he got in a new dealer of springs and i called him to switch my order to them. Well that was done no biggie. I get an Email from him a lil while later saying they were sent out that day. Well then a lil while later I get another email saying them springs bottom out do not put them on when i get them. Well i said no more waiting for them i will get them at another time. So long story short i called him said forget the springs i want the CGS intake he said ok i will ship that right out call me when the springs get to u. I NEVER received them springs and told him this and we have no idea what happened to them. I mean he could have been like well i think u got them and so on but he didnt. Great person and company. Thanks Mike and any one who orders from him knows he stands behind the stuff for this car so we all avoid headaches from parts that dont work........

I completely agree with everything Dark Dreamz says about Mike and SoCal. I ordered the Stubby Antenna from him and received it within a couple of days. I loved the look it gave to my ride but unfortunately i couldn't get good reception due to the steep mountains, deep valleys, and weak stations (HPR - NPR affiliate). Mike accepted the return and refunded me my money back just as quick. I have ordered other things from him and am totally satisfied with everything. I recommend him for all your HHR needs!!

When it comes to customer service Mike is Not only does he sell great parts, he is a great source for information when it comes to advice on things he doesn't even sell.

As many of you know, I've got a thing about getting raised white letter tires for my HHR. Well, I found some and the guy at the Goodyear store told me they would fit. Knowing that I could be getting into a problem with rubbing on a standard size tire (not the bicycle kinda tire), I called Mike and told him what was up. He got back to me within 30 minutes or so via email, with all the supporting documentation I needed to present to the Goodyear guy, showing him that the tires he said would fit...when they wouldn't w/o modifications to the wheel wells, which I am unwilling to mess with. This was way beyond the call of duty and I appreciate Mike taking the time to research this info for me.

I have bought many things from him over the last 10 months and have never had a problem with one single item. In fact, when I ordered a batch of stuff from him recently, it had been snowing and when I went out to clean my car off after I ordered stuff, when I scraped the ice off the rear side window I messed up one of my SoCalHHR flames decals. Guess that ice was harder than I thought...and I was really bummed because I had ruined my decal. I emailed him and asked if he had a spare laying around that we could add to my order and he not only sent me the one I wrecked...but also a new set for the spring...at no charge. The moral of the story is...he was in no way obligated to do this, as it was my fault...but he did it anyway. In my opinion he goes way above the call of duty and if and when something goes wrong, he's Johnny on the spot to take care of it...whether it's related to his product or not.

I've got a couple other stories about things he's done for me as well...but you get the idea.
