Knight Train Mods

Here's the link to my gallery: https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/bro...=3&userid=7244

I've added a Valentine One fuzz buster, Sirius radio, JL Audio sub, PPI APA100 competition amp, splash guards, blacked out front bow tie, and retro "Chevrolet" on the grille.

I've got a cigarette lighter splitter mounted on the sub box that my Valentine and Sirius radio are running off of to keep my front lighters free. This runs off of the amp.

Let me know if you have helpful suggestions.

How about matching the rear bowtie to match the front.

I did the bowtie on the front after work yesterday and just didn't feel like doing it on the back at the time.

Those mods look great.

Can you explain how you did the bowtie please?

Thanks!

My company does vehicle wraps, so we use a different type of vinyl than most vinyl shops have. It's 3M 180C Control Tac w/Comply. It comes white and you print on it (your printer sitting on your desk won't work, so don't try), then we laminate it to extend the life of the ink, usually 5-7 years. The vinyl has little 1mm air channels built in that look like chain link fencing. This allows it to mold around the complex surfaces of a vehicle.

So now that you know that, I took a piece of the 180C and started it on the very center and applied it on the flat part of the emblem. Afterwards, I heated the edges around the bowtie and pushed it down with my fingers until everything was flat, then trimmed the excess.

you can hook to fuse 21 in the center fuse block for the radar det and radio. That fuse is controlled by the ign key. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...d+power+source
