Kumho TIres
installed
i got my 17"s and Kuhmos installed...I can't tell if its the wheels or the tires, but there is a helleva difference! I suggest stock 16ers make the transition...Mac has the satin package, so I went with the unpolished 17's...there werent nearly as hard to find and I got them for $125 bucks on ebay. They go great with the satin and tires set them off. Im really more impressed with they way they look than I thought I would be (rims and tires)

Kuhmo's are really good tires and I've been running them for years. If you look real close at the Kuhmo's and Hankook's you'll see that they're made from the same mold (identical thread). They may have a slightly different rubber compound but they're the same none the less. Stay away from the 712's, they're a great performance tire but the compound is pretty soft and sticky so you won't get a ton of miles out of them. The 711's are much better overall and will give you both great all weather traction and wear. Both do a great job in wet weather performance since they do tread water very well. If your only interested in performance then the 712's are great, but if your looking at some mileage benefit then go with the 711's.
Tire threadwear tells you more or less how long they will last
if you have 300 its a high mileage tire, if the rating is 150 , its low mileage tire.. just a guide.. check it out yourself... on a site..
