Lack of rubber window molding

I'm looking at my new-ish HHR; looking at the rear window and third side windows. Rear side window don't have rubber molding, exterior, like the open-able windows do. I think looks lousy, looks like manufacturer forgot to put them on. Also become grime collectors.
Any suggestions?
thanx

I agree that they don't quite match. Kinda looks like the rear sides should pop out (wish they would). And yes they collect all kinds of dirt.

It would be nice to find a rubber molding that looks the same, could be molded around the window, fit in that groove, and glued into place...... Haven't seen anything yet.

There's an owner on here that did his own AA5 conversion. He found molding from JC Whitney that almost matches. It has a channel dealio that presses into the groove on our side windows. I want to just do the molding to match the rears. Try a search - I wish I could remember his name. Might look in Summit White Pics or maybe AA5.

AA5 wouldn't work in a search.... 3 letters isn't long enough. I think I do remember someone here putting metal in there though, that's probably the guy. Yeah, I would just add the rubber and keep the glass too. It would look more Ol'scool wagon.

Bingo........... Here's the link. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/diy-1-2-panel-23392/

And here's the rubber he used........ Looks more rounded and maybe a little narrower.

Neoprene Rubber Edge Trim 3/16” Opening, 5/16” Depth
(From McMaster-Carr, Item #8507K214, 25 ft)

Getting closer anyways.

Thumbs up McMaster Carr molding

Thanx, folks, thanx Greybeard.
I found from your link, the Mcmaster site. Lots of profile choices. I measured my windows carefully, A B C D measurements, and decided on the 8507k31 instead; it has a wider profile to match the existing 3/4 width, and other dimensions should work.
I'll post again after I receive and install.

I got the rubber from Mcmaster Carr, 8507k31 ($1.87/ft), and installed it yesterday. Looks pretty good. I'll try to get pics on here someday. I like that it matches the existing 3/4 inch mold, and the material/finish is a good match.
I knew I'd have to cut it; took a sharp box cutter knife down the center of channel. (It doesn't fit around glass edging as is). Cut angles into 4 corners for curving/wrapping. Pliobond glue seems to work. Finished off cut with black silicone caulk, matched the little factory caulk lines on other windows, sort of.
Biggest problem was that the factory groove between window and metal wasn't consistent, when factory just mashes the window into place. So it took some careful fitting.
Took a while, but what doesn't.
