Largest tires?

I'd like to install a set of tires larger than the stock, and wider than stock with out causing issues! I'm keeping factory 16 inch wheels! just want a taller tire and wide! Any Help? Search function was no help!!

Thanks in advance!

A 225/55/16 is slightly wider and just a bit taller than stock and works fine. You could go with a 215/60/16 and that would be taller but same width as stock. That's about all you can do with height then the tire gets too close on the front strut which is the first place a taller combo would hit. 235/55/16 should also work but gets close on rear fender lip if you're lowered, and that's about as big as you can go also as far as height on the front. If you are willing to cut or trim then you can get more room of course.
