LED Strips accenting headlights....

Has anyone tried the led light strips that you can put under the headlights to get the Audi R8 look? I have seen pic of other cars that people have done that look good, but none on an HHR...

from what i've noticed they are applied on the outside.
for me, living in northern iowa i can't say that the winters would be very nice to the adhesive

they are applied with a 3M like adhesive, and are attached to the bottom of the headlight between the bumper and the light...I guess the adhesive is really good. I was just wondering how good they look when they are outside the light, and not placed inside.

DoubleO did it. He just put up his pics the other day in the Featured HHR submission section.

DoubleO's look really good, but if I remember right, I saw how he did it on Cardomain.com. He actually heated the lights up, took them apart, painted them then applied the Led's on top and bottom inside the lens. I was wondering how the one's applied on the outside look. Anyone know?

Your better off putting them in side. I've seen cars around here with them on the outside and the weather eats the m up after a while. Do it like I did it looks stock.
