LS to SS body kit

I have a base of a base model 😂 but I love my little Hotrod. I want to dress up the body some and install a different front bumper but the only ones I have been able to find is the ďSS bumper coverĒ on eBay. I think itís pretty much a direct bolt on replacement for the stock bumper on my LS. Correct me on that if Iím wrong.

Does anyone else know of any other bumpers or body kits for the HHR? This stock front bumper is just a killer 🙈

Not quite, you'll need the SS grille also, or there will be a gap.

Thank you both. I have not been able to find the SS grill so I would just get the bumper first and deal with the gap until I was able to find one. I wish GM or another company would make more aftermarket replacement parts for the SS so us base model guys could do the swap easier if we wanted to.

That won't happen. There is just no market for it. Very few "base model" folks out there looking to do this mod.

It's comes down to Supply and Demand.

Unfortunately. I think these HHRs will be in high demand in years to come. They are modern day classics. I’ll end up buying an SS one day when some other bills are paid off but for now I want to dress up my LS and make it a little more customized.

Look at pictures of the grill/hood of an SS. There is a bar in the middle with the bow tie emblem.
Will the grill shell work?

Here's the grill bezel, I call it a shell:
