Thanks a whole bunch, HHR_style, for the link to that very informative post you put together in July on how to install the molded mud flaps. I first liked the Bow Tie logo flaps until I saw how much easier it is to install with the HHR logo when the holes are predrilled. The pictures and information are so good I'm thinking of digging out my old car ramps from my self servicing days to lift the wheels 8 to 12 inches and trying to install them myself. (Haven't ordered them yet.) That was a great job of instructing. Just what I needed. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will appreciate that valuable information. Thanks!

Don't need them in Arizona either but it gives the car a little distinction.

You don't need to raise the car. The rears are a snap, and for the front you just have to turn the wheels all the way to the inside. Piece of cake!!

Thanks. Sounds encouraging! Even with a bad back.

I ordered a set of 4 molded HHR splash guards with the logo on the rear flaps from GMPartsDirect.com for $80.74, tax, S&H included. I thought I'd try to get some touch up paint, not only for the car, but to paint the HHR logo on the flaps. So far I've found Acrylic Urethane but over the phone they suggested I find out what the flaps were made of. I emailed GMPartsDirect.com to find out , (they don't take phone calls), and received this answer "I am sorry, we do not have access to the information you have requested." Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't that just sound like I'll take your money but don't bother me! So I guess I'll wait till they arrive and judge for myself.

They are good if the price is best, & you have no questions..

Otherwise it can be frustrating. But I've gotten some very Good deals for oem parts from them...

I bought the same OEM's. The fit like a glove and very easy to install. I followed a "how to" that I believe I found on hhr.net.
