It's the cling-on plastic film available on ebay. I lost one from my first set so I dabbed a little silicone around the edges to keep adhered on the next set.

 

I've been murdering inside out: I hate chrome.

 

did you paint the handles and vents? or buy them like that?

i had wondered about these since i liked the look

but what happens when you need your "brights" if you're driving with them on normally?

It's paint. The center vents can be easilly removed, but the side ones I masked.

Actually the FLE does have FACTORY TINTED headlights as well as fog light lenses. If you look at the pic, you will see a much darker overall look. This is what I saw when my FLE was parked next to my 1LT.
Would make a nice addition to the murdered out look.
