My new flea market shifter

Went to Canada`s biggest auto flea market this weekend and found this porcelian Labatt`s draft beer handel for $12.00.It`s real close to the same size as the factory shifter just had to drill it out to 15/64 th`s and it slipped right on the stock shaft.

There was 2 set screws all ready there so it was real quick to install. The one side has a flat spot so I turned that to fit my thumb feels real nice.Only thing is I drink Molson Canadian but it looks cool, most tap handels are real long so this was a nice find to use as a shift knob.

Very nice Mike. I love the color.

You always show your imagination.

Nah, that won't get you a Field Sobriety Test the next time you get pulled over...

"When I approached the vehicle with the driver's side window rolled down, I noticed that the vehicle had been fitted with a Labatt Blue draft handle for a shift knob. Concerned about the nature of this modification, I requested the operator of the vehicle to submit to three standardized field sobriety tests..." -- excerpt from a future police report

Wonder if it would provide PC for a search??

You know......the officer wanted to check to see if draft beer is piped in

Kidding aside....I do think it looks kind of neat.

Yeah, as if a little thing like Probable Cause has ever stopped a cop from searching a car before
