Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the HHR family so I really have no clue what kind of mods/add-ons are available. Can you all give me some suggestions? Are there any cool lights, antennas, decals, floormats etc? Just keep one thing in mind.. I want my SS to remain sporty and not all blinged out with chrome and craziness :)

My SS is being built this week............it's going to get a tank of gas and then get aimed "down the road", doesn't need mods or add-ons for my simple tastes.

I agree. Stocky is better than tacky, and chrome won't get you home!

I painted my calipers since they are readily visible through the wheels and I also changed the white SS logos to match the caliper paint. That's it, I'm good to go.

I'd suggest smoothie door lock knobs to ease the pain on your elbow and a traffic light prism to help see stop lights.

High up on my list is also tinting the front glass to match the rear for a uniform look.

BTW, you can get the smoothie lock knobs and prisms at The HHR Store. LINK

I like the stubby antenna. As for that traffic light prism thing... I wouldn't be caught dead with that thing on my dash.

Ya, I went with the lightnsight, but I ordered last week and no email or charge on my credit card yet. The 1-800 number on the site isnt working either.

The only mod I did on my 2LT was paint the HHR letters on the rear splash guards silver so they stand out better. I did replace the air filter with a K&N filter. Oh and I placed fuzzy dice on my mirror. When I get my SS, I'm not doing anything to it.
