Yeah, driving up to Hahn's to check on my HHR they were resurfacing 15 miles of highway! I would have had to go two hours out of my way to avoid going back through it. By then most of the damage was already done.

cheap way out is diesel fuel..its a bit oily and will help in scratching paint..use a couple of good clean shop towels..the soft ones..mcguires sells a road tar remover but much more elbo grease..if u go to the local spray in wash bays and try the tire cleaner with high pres water ud be surprised what comes off for a couple of quarters..get it while its fresh...your clearcoat will protect the paint..just dont use dish soap to rinse off..it strips the shine off...
