Need some input regarding Vent Visors

Several questions regarding vent visors: 1 Which type is better - the tape on or the in-channel visors? 2. Do you have to drill anything to install either one? And finally which is better the Lund or AVS?

Thanks for your time, I am just a new guy and like to do things right the first time.

All a matter of opinion. Use the search function with the words "vent visors" and you will bring up lots of threads. I prefer the look of in-channels that cover the whole rear window made by weathertech.

Thanks HillsdaleHHR,

I did try a search and the frist time only got 4 results, the second time, alot more. Sorry I must have done something wrong the first time.

It appears, from what I read, I would like the in-channel better just have to decide if I should go with Lund or the AVS.

Thanks,

Dave

I have the AVS and if I had to do it again I would go with the Weather Tech's. I didn't know about them when I purchased mine.

Great info Guys, I think I will go with the weather tech's, I like that it even cover the small solid part of the back window, even if it is just on the outside. But that, to me at least, show someone was thinking when they designed it. So it looks like it covers the whole side window. Thanks again for all your help.

Absolutley. With the added benefit of being able to take them on and off, switches up the look. Weathertech in channels. German made, a lil farfeeegnooten for the HHR.
