well after totoally giving up on a search for a new bumper..Ive decided for the money Im gunna spend..lets do a one of a kind deal...so off I went to my buds at NITELINE customs here in town..after sum scoungin in a bumper pile and searchn the net for ideas..this is what we came up with...stock bumper..shave the horns..cut it in half and mold it up to a Cobalt SS front facia..(dime a dozen for these ones)..the front will look SS but different and be about 2 to 3 inches wider..give it more of a "lower" look and no need for my home made pavement scaper anymore..the front Coby bumber has a very nice "lip" on the forward leading edge..and with the lights should be cool..dropped em off today..Im a pretty crafty gut but a project like this is best left to the pros..plus the amount of sanding..ill gladly pay..lol..here is a few pics of what I mean..Ill post more as the job goes..
