New Front End?

This is an old truck that I drive by every day (sorry it's bad, the flash reflected on my window).

I love the front end and was wondering what it would look like on an HHR. This is what I came up with:

I don't have any graphic programs on my computer so I had to put my art degree to use. I just traced a printout of an HHR and redid the front end the "best" I could (or felt like doing at the time). My wife thinks it's fairly ugly, and I'm not sure I disagree with her. What say the rest of you? Anybody feel like making a better digital version?

Everyone has there their own ideas and what they would like to do. Some refinements and you might have something. If I had a crayon I would have trouble staying within the lines that how my artistic abilities suck.

that old truck looks awesome.

don't know if its just rusted out that its sitting so low.

slap some rims on it and it would be a nice truck.

Yeah, I say get that oldie, chop the top and add some VROOOM, youre golden.
They do have kits something like that for the HHR, and I have seen pics here somewhere with the round lights too.

The issue is the HHR is a 1948 design and that old truck is a '30s design. It just doesn't look right. However it's your HHR.

BTW: Jared that is the nicest sig I have ever seen.

Like thePickup, '46-'47? Looks like good Ratrod, what engine/trans you running? As far as your drawing not bad for free hand not being an artist either. It would be an interesting job to do,but I think it would make the front
look too high as the hood is flat an doesn't have the slope that the late '47 to
'55 truck hoods had.
